I loved your video......especially the way you moved from scene to scene. Well laid out in advance. I also appreciate the way you have edited scenes to just a few seconds keeping interest and the way you have included topside clips.
How did you get the Solmar V while motoring???? That was great.
What software did you use????? I use Pinnacle Studio and find it works pretty well. I also use background music with some voiceover to explain settings.
My wife and I have been on the Solmar V to Soccoro twice....once in Nov better mantas, once in April whale sightings and underwater singing. We also had several dolphin sightings, but not to the extent that you did. I have two videos that I will try to post soon of our trips.
For what it is worth, I have posted on this site one of my first video shorts......our manta rescue in Panama. This was early in my video editing and not my best work, but I thought it was of interest.
I would like to chat with you sometime as I think we video very similarly and maybe can learn from each other...... or at least I can learn from you. I am getting ready to leave on a dive trip this Sat and will be gone for two weeks..... will try to connect with you soon.

While I have dove the Duane on several occassions, I have never done it at night or any penetration. Your video took me there. I would suggest, however, that you edit your video to limit some of the less interesting scenes. Sometiimes less is more. I'm thinking a 6 minute video total would have captured all and kept our interest level high. Also, if you were to use a video editor, you could mix in some music background. I have found Pinnacle Studio to be very easy to use and full featured for a very modest cost.

I have been to Fiji half a dozen times and it still is one of my favorite dive destinations. Your video shows the diving community why. My videos are similar to yours in that I rarely bore the audience with scenes that are more than 12 seconds long. I also have used BLACK ROSE for the background music in at least two of my videos from Fiji. They are the perfect blend of traditional Fiji and popular music and just fun to listen to. The shark scenes are always the hardest to get color into as you are generally some distance away, but some of your secnes were close up and still lacked color. Were you using a red filter with daylight or video lights?? Otherwise, it was a very good video.

I loved your video. As a warm water diver, I ;ve never seen a wolf eel, They sure seemed co-operative and playful. While maybe not showing their typical behavoir, they seem to be anything but what they look like.
